26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
This verse makes me think about how important it is to have self control and discipline whenever you are striving towards a goal. We have to have an end in mind of what our true focus is. Why wonder thru life and not give your all everyday!!? We have been built to do great things, continue to push yourself and not settle for mediocrity!
You have to be what you can not see. You are sitting on your answer to your prayers. The uncomfortable feeling you have is spurring up a birth of a blessing. You can’t empower others being small minded, timid, or afraid of the unknowns. You are capable of being who you desire, but you have to grow in order to get to your destiny. In order to grow you have to allow for the seed to be planted, and make steps each day to allow water to increase your territory. Yes there will days that are hard, yes you will think about quitting, but you can not lose focus, because everything you have prayed for is waiting on you!
Whenever you have a skill, talent, or profession you are in there will always be somebody else doing the same thing or similar. The best way to stay above is to not get distracted. Distraction causes you to stop focusing on your platform and growing your ideas, because you are too worried about somebody else’s journey you ultimately get off track. The best way to improve any facet of your life is to focus on your race. Do not stop improving and working on perfecting yourself, delay comes when you stop to look at others. Limit the comparisons, because your race is different. Enjoy your week readers and stay focused on your dreams.
